CURRENT RESEARCH

My lab focuses on voltage-gated calcium channels and their modulation by intracellular signaling pathways.  The goal of our research is to improve understanding of the molecular mechanisms that underlie calcium channel function.  Because voltage-gated calcium channels play key roles in numerous physiological processes, this research has direct relevance to understanding, improving and safe-guarding human health.
