BACKGROUND

Prior to becoming a lecturer at USU, my experience includes various trades or industries in which I worked either as a professional or as a health and safety representative. As a worker my experience includes: Journeyman roofer and waterproofer, tire retread manufacturing, and engine and transmission rebuild. As a health and safety rep: underground and open pit mining, asbestos abatement, and semiconductors. While working in the IH field, I became an industrial hygiene manager for 2.5 years until accepting a position at USU as a public health lecturer.

 

TEACHING

As a lecturer, I try to combine my work experience and professional learning into my coursework. The courses in which I teach or co-teach include:
