Undergraduate Graduation Application Instructions
Step 1:
Go to the Registrar's Office in the Taggart Student
Center, TSC 246, and ask for your graduation packet to be prepared or apply on-line from the Registrar's web site http://www.usu.edu/registrar/graduation/. Tell them
your major, any emphasis within the major (for example Biology major with Environmental
or Cellular/Molecular emphasis or Public Health major with Environmental Health
emphasis) and any minors you expect to earn. Pick up your packet when it is
ready.
Step 2:
Prepare a list of the courses
you will take each semester prior to graduation (including the current semester).
Only list courses that you need to meet graduation requirements; we will transcribe
this information onto the graduation form. Bring your graduation packet and
this list of courses to the Biology Advising Center (BNR 101)
for department (major) processing.
Step 3:
Pick up your signed packet and take it to your minor department(s) for the
appropriate signatures.
Step 4:
Your next stop is the College of Science (ESLC 245) where they will make sure
that you have met University Studies (general education), College of Science,
and University requirements and secure the Dean’s signature.
Step 5:
Finally, take your graduation packet to the Registrar ’s Office in the
Taggart Student Center to pay graduation fees.
NOTE: Changes and Supplemental Forms. If you change your plan of study from
what was listed on the graduation form, you must file a supplemental form describing
those changes or your application will be rejected. These are available at
the Graduation Desk, the College of Science, and the Biology Advising Center.
They must be signed by the Biology Department's Director of Undergraduate Studies and
the Associate Dean of the College of Science who will verify that you still
meet graduation requirements after the changes.
